BeerCalc is a recipe calculator and database for the home brewer (although it is also used by professionals), and works on computers, tablets and phones. Apart from the usual calculation features, it also offers Brew Logs (log each time you brew a recipe, recording any variations), Comments (discuss with other brewers) and comparison of your target beer characteristics against BJCP, Danish, Swedish and Norwegian competition Style Guides.
Sign up for free! If you are new to BeerCalc, go ahead and play. You can use the tool without an account, just browse through the Index of recipes, click on any one and see what it can do. You'll only need to sign up when you want to save a recipe. You can also watch a short video.
Otherwise click on Help in the left menu to get a full set of instructions.
BeerCalc is free to use, and has no advertising. But it does have running costs. You can donate here if you find it useful.
Happy brewing!
